Overslept this morning so decided to join up with a club run in the woods. Set out on the normal course from bow brickhill station to get in some extra milage. It was pretty cold and had to go through some icy puddles at the start which is always a test of commitment. Was great to be back doing a proper long woods run – 2h 07 mins – even if it was in icy and foggy conditions. Felt like I might be in the way back to fitness but have a long way to go. I’m half a stone heavier than I was when I last did a 10 mile run and a lot slower. Glad I’m doing janathon!
